Give a girl a good pair of shoes and she can conquer the world
– Marilyn Monroe
The first thing I notice when I meet someone is their shoes. I don’t make eye contact first, I make shoe contact. You can figure out someone’s personality just by looking at their shoes. That’s true! I can safely say that I’m a shoe addict. I love shoes. Everyone loves shoe. I have not known any one who is not crazy about shoes. My husband and I have a deep rooted passion of collecting shoes. Although he owns more pairs than me. We just cant seem to get enough of them. I have a closet full of shoes and then some.
So I have compiled a list of shoes a woman should have in her closet. Its not an obligation obviously but as a shoe lover, these are the basic must haves if you don’t have the space or money to pile on every shoe you are attracted to.
Basic black pumps :
The staple of every shoe-aholics closet has to be a basic black heel. You can dress it up. You can dress it down. Wear them to work or just like that. Goes with literally anything and everything. Just can’t praise them enough. Buy them and you wont regret.
If you are someone who is all about comfort and cannot wear heels for a long period of time like me then it goes without saying that you have to have this.
Good pair of Booties:
A good pair of suede ankle length boots or any pair of boots for the matter is a really good investment. It can take your otherwise boring outfit to a whole another level. Leave them for days when you want to look edgy. I literally wait for fall just to wear my boots.!
Very important and very useful for running errands. Who knows maybe one day you might even get motivated to work out just by having them in your closet.(at least I did).
Stylish.Versatile. Important for long flights. enough said.
Nothing goes better with your kurtis and salwar suits or lehengas than a beautiful pair of jootis. I especially love the mirrored ones which we get in indian fairs and melas.
Reminder to self: Buy more jootis and mojadis from India.
Glam! Bam! Thank you mam!
